Ben Reindel
Ben played high school baseball at John F. Kennedy in Burien, WA where he received league honors and was at the top of the league, leading in home runs and outfield assists his senior season. He went into the coaching ranks after a playing stint at Boise State University.
During his coaching career he has specialized in teaching hitting, infield, outfield and pitching. As a coach he has an energetic passion for teaching the game of baseball. He has an aggressive coaching style and a philosophy that stresses the fundamentals.
Ben began coaching with his alma mater Kennedy for two seasons in 2006, one as the junior varsity head coach and one as the varsity assistant. He moved onto Tyee High where he coached under Josh Adams as an assistant for a year and in 2009 received the head coaching job. In 2010 Foster High School made Ben their new head coach.
Ben got his start coaching club ball with the Washington Dodgers out of Sammamish, WA in 2007 & 2008 and is also currently the infield position coach for the South End Hurricanes.
16U - Andrew Gray

Andrew Gray
Andrew grew up playing little league then select baseball. He played at Lake Washington High School all four years as a varsity starter. Was signed by the Padres and then picked up by the Mariners for a couple years.
He is now entering his 6th year in coaching select baseball. He started by coaching in the Bellevue Baseball Club then went to Seattle where he ran his own team for Seattle select. His team made it to the championship game in his first year and came up just short, but returned the following year to take the league championship. He then returned to Bellevue were he coached a 15U select team that had a combined two year record of 105 wins and 21 losses.
He worked with our 14U team last year and is now the coach of our 16U team. Both Andrew and assistance coach Jake Wiseman are looking forward to this season and continuing to make Hurricanes baseball the best it can be.

Brian McClain
Brian has coached various age groups from 5 year old t-ball through 13 year old competitive teams with the Spokane Youth Sports Association. He has also coached in a Cal Ripken league in their 9 year old machine pitch program. He coached both the Minors as well as Cal Ripken Majors with 70 foot bases and lead off/steal. This past summer he coached in the Sumner Parks Competitive U13 division.

Jeff Sartin
Jeff is entering his ninth year of coaching youth baseball. Also active in league management, in 2005 he served on the SHBSC board of directors as Director of TBall-Coach Pitch and in 2007 served as League President. While at SHBSC he coached 7U and 8U teams to league championships and took the 8U team to their first tournament experience and championship, at the Battle Ground Blast 8U tournament.
In 2008 Jeff coached the 9U Raptors Select team to a 7-5 record in the 10U SPYA competitive league, won the Federal Way Summer Knights tournament and finished second in both the USSSA 9U State Championships and Sprinker 4th of July Blast tournaments. In 2009, he was the assistant coach of the Red Sox South Hill Little League team winning the 9/10U division and was selected as one of the Little League All Star coaches for the District 10 tournament. Jeff is also the current Director of Marketing for the Hurricanes Baseball Club.
10U - Cory Woolley

Cory Woolley
Cory started playing baseball in 1982 in California. He played at the high school level and joined a select team in 1993. He started umpiring in 1992 and is a member of the ABUA (Amateur Baseball Umpire Association). He recieved his umpire certificate in 1999 and since then has umpired many levels of baseball from Little League to Collegiate.
His first coaching experience was in high school for his senior project where he coached a Bonney Lake Little League team. He says "Baseball is a passion of mine that I'm passing on to my son. My first baseball game that I can remember was the Dodgers vs. the Astros, it goes without saying, I love this game."

Dusty is the club VP and Director of Player Personnel. He handles club operations as well as all player and team issues.

Hitting Coach - Mike Wiseman
Mike's experience as a coach is wide an varied. He has coached his own teams (14U thru 18U), spent several years at Green River Community College in various roles - Pitching Coach, Assistant Hitting Coach and Defensive Coach. As well, he spent one year as a Hitting Coach at Pierce Community College.
Mike started the South End Hurricanes a few years ago and has dedicated his every waking moment to growing the club and its players. Mike also currently serves as the President of the South End Hurricanes Baseball Club.
Pitching Coach - Adam Owens
Adam has been fully dedicated to baseball for over 20 years as a player and coach.
During four years as a Mountaineer baseball player, he filled pitching roles as both a LH starter and reliever for the Mounties Staff. During his time as a College pitcher, Adam worked with private pitching instructor Dan Warthen (Head Pitching Coach of the NY METS).
He is a 2005 Cum Laude graduate of Eastern Oregon University with a Business Administration degree in Marketing and Management. In 2007, he received his Masters of Business Administration degree as a Summa Cum Laude Graduate of Eastern Oregon University.At Dallas (Oregon) High School, Adam received All League and MVP Pitcher awards with a 1.4 league ERA and only one loss. He currently holds the school record for least walks per season, and a Strikeout to Walk ratio of 5:1. During Summers he played with his American Legion teams which regularly won at districts and went on to State Championship Tournaments.
Adam is in his 6th year as a coach including 3 years as the Single A Dallas, OR High School American Legion Pitching Coach. He has spent two years as Assistant Coach and Pitching Instructor at Tyee High School, and is currently Assistant coach and Pitching Instructor of the 18U SE Hurricanes Baseball Club.
In addition to playing and coaching, Adam has 7 years experience umpiring, including top Oregon State, Regional, and District High School varsity league and playoffs, and Babe Ruth District and Regional payoffs.
Catching Coach - Casey Sample
Casey played Federal Way National Little League from age 10-14.
4 year varsity baseball player in GA, recruited by Georgia Tech Jr season (1993-1997).
Played in state championships in Mickey Mantle AAU age 18 in GA
offered athletic scholarship to Brewton-Parker College in Mt Vernon, GA but injury prevented him from playing (1997-98). He left to attend Georgia Southern Univ (1998).
Casey walked on at GA Southern Univ as bull-pen catcher.
After graduating from Gordon College in 2002, began attending multiple college training camps and began coaching. Appeared in 2 District championships in 2002/2003.
Casey moved back to Washington and began coaching in Federal Way National Little League in 2008-09. Team appeared in District Championship Tournament each year.
Casey utilizes college level instruction and fundamentals. He is also the head coach for the Hurricanes Baseball Club 15U Team.
Speed & Agility Coach - John Daulbaugh
John was a sprinter for eight years and has been a personal trainer since 2006 certified through the ISSA (the International Sports Sciences Association.)
His training philosophy revolves around functional training, where every movement focuses on improving the power output of each athlete. The intensity level that he pushes his athletes to is beyond what the average player reaches therefore putting them ahead of their peers.
