The South End Hurricanes Baseball Club is an independent youth baseball organization. We are not funded by any specific league, school district, city, county or state. Our organization is dependent on player fees paid by parents, fund raising and local business community support.

"The Hurricanes Baseball Club is as an organization that provides an opportunity for young men between 10 and 18 with a true passion for baseball to learn, train and play in a highly competitive select team environment incorporating the best coaching, training and facilities available, instilling no less than the highest standards of sportsmanship while learning to balance competitive sports with personal, family and academic responsibility."

Why Sponsor The Hurricanes?

As a competitive athletic organization we are not embarrassed to say our goal is winning. This is not a narrow goal, it is a goal for our players and staff not only on, but off the field of competition as well. To truly accomplish this goal we are committed to developing our players as athletes, students and citizens. In fact, all of our players are required to meet above average academic standards to participate and for those that fall below those standards the club will support the player and parents by instituting a "plan of action" to re-establish academic requirements.

We are focused on promoting our sponsors when and where ever possible to assist in their success and representing them by developing quality teams of outstanding young men our sponsors can be proud to be associated with.

Due to economic issues school districts continue to drop many of the extra-curricular sports activities that many of us grew up on. Without these activities kids have much more unsupervised time that leads to less social responsibility, lack of structure, loss of team building skills and ultimately poor life decisions.

SIlver sponsors and above are presented with a plaque and/or certificate to display in their business for the particular season sponsored.

Club Financial Management

All parent fees, fund raising and sponsorship money is controlled and distributed by our board for training facilities, equipment, league fees, tournament fees and general operating expenses. Players/Parents pay a per player team fee and also pay all travel expenses as necessary to attend games and tournaments
